hoping in Hope

hey y'all-

Early this week, we received word from our agency that the Russian family that showed an interest in Luda decided to pursue adoption.  Thus, we will not be able to adopt Luda.

We are disappointed and sad-  we have been praying for her and hoping for her since June.

We were able to talk to the girls, and they were so sweet-  they all wanted to pray for Luda.

While we are sad that we will not be adopting Luda, we are still hopeful about who the Lord has for us to adopt.  We are confident that He has a plan for all of this and will use it for His Glory and to further His kingdom...even as He draws us close to Him.

Honestly, we are still processing and trying to figure out what our next step is, but we truly have a peace that passes understanding as we rest in Him.

We wanted to thank you for all of your prayers for Luda...and for us, too.  Please continue to pray for Luda as she waits for her family, and pray for them, too, as they complete the paperwork and begin their life with their new daughter.
